Well It’s been a busy year already with working full time, running a business and going to school full time.  I have manage to maintain a 4.0 which also put me on the Deans list and the Chancellors list.  I have decided to pursue a BSIT with a Concentration in Network Managment and possibly Security as well.  The closer I get to my degree the more I will know if I will continue on to getting my Masters.

Now that you have an update on what I have been doing, you know that I don’t have a whole lot of time on my hands for leisure activities and keeping up with a blog and my other commitments that I have can be challenging.

Well hopefully everyone got what they wanted for Christmas this year!  In reality I could say last year since it is 2008 now :-).   I had a wonderfull Christmas and a Happy New Year!! 

 One of my gifts that I  have recieved was a Western Digital USB 500Gig Essential HD.  A person can always use more hard drive space right??  Well i have a total of 4 systems right now in my place and I am wanting more :-).  I have 2003 server loaded up on my Dads older system that I have built for him 4 or 5 years ago.  I built him a new system for Christmas this year and called it the tradeup program lol.  He was pretty happy and didn’t mind parting with his older system.  It has the Shuttle AK32A Mobo,  AMD XP1800+ Processor, 1 Gig of DDR 266 or PC 2100,  32 Meg Nvidia TNT2 Vid card, WD 60Gig HD and a DVD burner and a DVD Rom.  I figured that would be perfect for a server at my home.  I have a Total of 1 Terabyte of storage ( 1 Terabyte equals 1000 Gigabytes).  I have all my vista systems backing up to those drives autmatically every week.  I have been looking at the Windows Home Server.  So for I have been hearing good results.

Its been a busy month with transfering everything to my new hosting provider and with the holidays comming around the corner.  I can say one thing for sure is that, I am all done with my shopping.  I think next year will be eaiser if i just do my shopping online.

I promise after the Holidays, I will get this site up and running and get reviews back on here.
